    Events and Fireworks

July 5th: The Town of New Market’s Independence Day Celebration is happening today, so you can extend the holiday an extra day!

The event will be held at New Market Community Park. Plan to grab dinner at one of the onsite food trucks, but make sure to save room for ice cream.

Rock out to live 60s music from Little Walter and the Convictions (6:30-9:30). The family will have a great time playing oversized board games, meeting animals at the petting zoo, and being a canvas for face painting artists. There’s even going to be a dunking booth.

Get your Shenandoah County swag at the tent celebrating the county’s 250th birthday. The night will end with a literal blast: fireworks start at 9:20.
