Shenandoah Valley Living - Welcome to the Shenandoah Valley - Live Here * Work Here Workforce Studies and Initiatives In 2018 the Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce, identified a need to conduct a wage and benefit survey of the Greater Augusta Region and its surrounding communities. The Chamber made the decision to expand the reach of the project to include the counties and cities on either side of the Greater Augusta region. The final result is a document in four parts; one report for the entire greater region and three micro-region reports. Triplett TechTriplett Tech is part of the public school system of Shenandoah County. Our students gain technical skills in a variety of career areas designed to prepare them for entry-level positions or acceptance into post-secondary education. In addition to the many high school programs, the Center offers career and technical training for adults interested in apprenticeship programs, basic skills training or a GED. Laurel Ridge Community College Laurel Ridge offers more than 75 degree and certificate programs for you to choose from!Their faculty is very knowledgeable in their specific subject areas. Many have real-world experience in a field which they are able to bring to the classroom and share with their students and have spent a number of years teaching.
